Callistawolf says, "This kitchen is kind of gloomy, with a grey-blue and wood motif that I think manages to look cool and warm at the same time. I'm currently working on a bedroom update for Purple Sims so be aware that is on its way, but it's slow going. I'll be out of town this next week so it may be May before that update makes it out. In the meantime, enjoy your Easter and your spring!"

Problems Logging In?

It's not us! Really! Before you write to us about login problems, please make sure it's really a problem. Almost all problems logging in to the SimsHost sites come from two common sources:

1. Bad password cached in your web browser. Click here to read our FAQ about that.

2. A user created more than one account, paid for one of them, and is trying to log in to an inactive account. To check that, try to log in by clicking on the link to Maintain Your Account. If your login fails, you'll bounce to a screen with the words "Forgot your password?" at the top. Enter your email address and click on "Get My Username From My Email Address". If the system finds more than one account with your email address, it will send you a note about it.

Is your account up to date?

Have you moved? Changed your email address? Make sure your SimsHost account information is up to date! That's important because this is how we make sure you're you if you have any problems with your account. To check and update your account information, click on the link to Maintain Your Account.

Download Managers

One word: Don't. Several subscribers have reported problems with third-party download managers. These are programs that save up your downloads and try to download them all at once later in the day. If you have one of these, please turn it off when visiting the SimsHost sites. We haven't found any of them that are worth a flip, and all of them will cause problems with your downloading.

The download managers that come with Internet Explorer and Netscape work great. Use 'em.
