Looking for Vintage downloads for your Sims? Look no further, this weeks site spotlight is Vintage Sims. Another founder site that opened it's doors for the first time at SimsHost. You will find beautiful vintage paintings of all kinds from Pin-up girls, Hollywood stars, movie posters, to miscellaneous ad posters. Many beautiful skins and heads from the 1940's - 1950's, vintage houses and many furniture sets which include a Downtown Antique Shop, and Coca-Cola Diner.

Lower Costs for Renewing Subscriptions

SimsHost's subscription system has a new feature -- if your account expires but there is still money left in your download account, it will automatically renew your account for one month, using funds from your download account. Better still, the automatic renewal rate is only $2.00 a month so you'll be renewed at the annual rate even if your original subscription was for a shorter term.

If there is less than $2.00 in your download account, the system uses half what's there and pro-rates the renewal at the same rate of $2.00 a month.

If you have a current account and want to set up your account for automatic renewal from your download account, just log in to Maintain Your Account and accept the new subscriber agreement.

Automatic renewal happens only with money you have already put into your download account. SimsHost does not do recurring charges to credit cards or PayPal accounts, so you always have complete control over how much you want to spend on The Sims.

The new subcription system went on line on October 27, 2003, but you have to accept the changes to the subscriber agreement before it will work with your account. If you are creating a new account or renewing your existing account, you will automatically see the screen where you accept the subscriber agreement.

While you are your account maintenance area, make sure that your SimsHost account information has your current email address. That's really important if you should ever need to contact us about your account. Just click on the link to Maintain Your Account to access your personal account on our secure server. (We will never share your email address or any other personal information with anybody for any reason.)

The Answer to High-Priced Subscription Sites

With your one SimsHost subscription, you support the hosting costs for all the sites we host and enjoy new additions that continue to surpass all the stand-alone subscription sites combined with your one low-cost subscription to SimsHost! That's why we created SimsHost in June 2002 when we ran out resources to host sites for free on the Moon Sims server, and it's working great!

One year ago we opened with two dozen founding sites. On that day, SimsHost instantaneously became by far the largest Sims site in the world offering the best value in subscription sites.

Today we host more than fifty fantastic sites for The Sims, the sites are bigger, and the service just keeps getting better! Troll Sims Site updated the catalog of original Maxis objects with the ones that came with the expansion pack Makin' Magic.

Yuppie Sims updates with the first of the child enabled Makin' Magic objects is available today including adult charms enabled for kids. This is a great way to get you child star to the top of the ladder. Speaking of climbing to the top... a hacked beanstalk is also available!

Carrot Stuff updates with Old Stuff Pack 1. Included in this pack: 27 various counters from the HP expansion pack, 7 chrome sinks from the HP expansion pack, 6 bathtubs from the LL expansion pack, for a Grand Total of 40 files.

KILLERSIMS updates today with an updated version of the KILLERSIMS Ca$h ATM, you will find it in the FREE AREA.

Yuppie Sims updates with the Bag of Tricks and Fire Build Mode Enabler. This little bag of tricks has all kinds of goodies in it. Your Sims can pull out magic coins, learn abilities, or just stock up on magic spells. The bag includes all the abilities that are included in the crystal growths, and all spell that are cast with the wand. Also available a fire build mode enalber. This hack also allows kids to extinguish fire.

Yuppie Sims has another great update for you today with the Color Coded Dragon Eggs. Have you been trying and trying to get the right dragon, but keep ending up with a torched bed? Look no further, you've found the golden egg. These color coded dragon eggs allow you to choose the color of your dragon. Just choose the dragon egg that corresponds to the dragon color of your choice, and you will get that color dragon every time.
