At The Wooden Simolean your Sims might not be able to process SETI@Home work units, but they can wear the tshirts in Sets! SETI is the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence. Thousands of people around the world are volunteering their spare CPU cycles to help process the vast accumulation of radio telescope data using the SETI@Home program.

Similarity Sims updates today with a beautiful new Spa which includes a total of 19 pieces, a kitchen set that includes 11 pieces and garden sets in 4 different colors. As freebies you will find a new living room and office set , and an old favorite the budget kitchen you can find them in the updates folders at the group.

Candace of Candace's Sim Bazaar says, "This week I bring you two brand new living room sets with 25 new items each. That is a total of 50 new objects for your Sims. I was inspired by all the furniture ads with denim upholstery. I decided that since I didn't truly need new furniture in real life, I would indulge my simmies and give them that homespun denim decor, complete with quilts and all the trimmings. The second set is called Spring Plaid. It is done in lovely spring colors of lavender, pink, blue and pale green. I thought it would look wonderful in the game and I believe I was right. Well onto the update, you can see the previews below. The freebie for this week is a gypsy style dress in all three skin tones."

With your one SimsHost subscription, you support the hosting costs for all the sites we host and enjoy new additions that continue to surpass all the stand-alone subscription sites combined with your one low-cost subscription to SimsHost! That's why we created SimsHost in June 2002 when we ran out resources to host sites for free on the Moon Sims server, and it's working great!

We know that we host so many sites with so much stuff for The Sims that it's easy to get lost and overlook some sites that you want to visit, so we hope this helps!

Still the Biggest, Still the Best

As we approach our second anniversary we thought you would like to know that the sites hosted by SimsHost taken collectively are still by far the largest site for The Sims in the world. Well, in all ways but one: We still have the lowest subscription cost of any site.

Continuing subscribers are paying only $2.00 a month (plus about a tenth of a penny per download on the average). That's about a third the cost of a typical stand-alone subscription site, for access to a hundred times as many downloads. We are pleased and proud to be able to do this while allowing each site to retain its own individual personality, even as SimsHost continues to grow.
