The Big Brick House Opens on SimsHost This Week!

Your sims will surely enjoy the magnificent architecture of the homes featured at The Big Brick House! Webmistress Casey's designing eye explores all the nooks and crannies of upscale homes for The Sims 2 to create houses that have a pleasing architecture and are very playable as well!

Although Casey is new to both Sims artistry and webcraft, she seems to have inherited a talent that runs in the family. You already know her sister Kelly as the webmistress for The Sim Republic!

The Sims Artists Challenge, Exclusively on SimsHost!

It all started in the SimsHost Webmasters discussion forum, where some of the artists were finding that with all the news about The Sims 2 they missed creating things for the original version of The Sims. The discusison became lively and the gauntlet was thrown! Whoever creates the themed set that gets downloaded the most by the end of the year 2004 wins the Sims Artists Challenge!

They asked us to pick the themes. In honor of our heritage in Moon Sims we offered up the Livin' Luna theme, of course. However, since the lunar theme can be very restrictive and only fits a few artists' styles, we also offered another theme that we haven't found done very well for The Sims -- Scottish.

It's Simply Similicious

Haunted Ville, a small subdivision in one of Sim City's western suburbs, was established by German pioneers some time between 1832 and 1840. Today Haunted Ville's population hits 627 and it's the Hallowe'en attraction for courageous Sims. What do you mean, you don't see anybody on the streets? Well, did you count the tombstones?
